Tips on packing your house ready for a Complete Removals Ltd removal

Start Early: Don’t wait until the last minute to begin packing. Start at least a few weeks in advance to ensure you have plenty of time to pack everything carefully.

Declutter: Moving is a perfect opportunity to declutter. Before packing, go through each room and decide what to donate, sell, or throw away. This will make your move easier and more organized.

Label Boxes: Clearly label each box with its contents and the room it belongs in. We provide our branded tape with designated room circles, making it easier for everyone to know where each box should go in your new home.

Use the Right Supplies: We supply everything you need for packing, including extra strong boxes, premium tape, bubble wrap, and packing paper for fragile items. We recommend using our supplies over free ones from neighbors to ensure maximum protection for your belongings.

Pack by Room: Focus on packing one room at a time. This helps you stay organized and ensures that items from each room stay together, making unpacking easier.

Pack Fragile Items Carefully: Use bubble wrap and packing paper to protect fragile items like glassware and china. Pack them in a separate box labeled as fragile.

Avoid Overpacking Boxes: Ensure each box isn’t too heavy and can be easily carried. If a box feels too heavy, fill the remaining space with soft items like pillows or duvets.

Pack a Box of Essentials: Prepare a box of essential items you’ll need right away in your new home, such as toilet paper, soap, towels, and toiletries. Label this box and inform our team that it needs to be easily accessible.

Take Pictures: Photograph the back of your electronics to make reconnecting them easier in your new home. While we assist with plugging everything in, having original pictures can be very helpful.

Keep Important Documents and Items with You: Ensure important documents, passports, wallets, purses, and medication stay with you during the move.
